Aromatherapy candle making is a relaxing and rewarding hobby. Not only that you can enjoy the process of making the candles aromatic candles have great benefits for your mind and spirit. Learn how to make your own candles and learn to arrange fresh flowers to give out as gifts to your friends and family, for important events of your life and if you are planning of venturing into candle or flower business or both, that you can start within the comforts of your home.
The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one day seminar on aroma candle making and fresh flower arrangement combined in one on March 14, Saturday from 10am to 6pm at the College of Social Work and Community Development, University of the Philippines, Diliman.
The topics to be discussed on how to make candles are the different kinds of waxes wherein participants will get to experience how to make candles using different methods and techniques such as the dipping method, pouring using paraffin and gel wax, molding, sand casting, how to make traditional candle stick, gel candle in glass containers with different designs and how to mix essential oils using aromatic scents to transform in to aromatherapy candles and many more.
In the flower arrangement session participants will be taught about the elements and principles of fresh flower arrangement with actual demo and hands-on on how to make rounded arrangement, triangle arrangement, torch design, combined candle and flower design and many more.
Participants will be given a certificate of training right after the seminar. Lunch, snacks hand-outs and all the raw materials needed for actual demo and hands-on will also be provided
